Fort Worth defensive driving instructor Glenn Listman has an impressive collection of comments from his driving safety students.

Bruce B said Glenn was “absolutely great,” and Dianna B said “Glenn was very professional and explained every chapter very well.”

Carlos W of Ft Worth called Glenn a “very good trainer, and his spirit and detailed explanations were excellent. His examples were very useful and make the explanations very clear. I will take this course next year and bring my son and daughter!”

Jennifer L of Crowley said “I enjoyed the class, and I am very glad that I signed up for this one.” Glenn Listman, she said, “kept it very interesting and made me laugh.”

But it was Tiffany C of Watauga who said what we hear from so many of our customers: “I would hope not to have to take this course again, but if I did I would use ComedyGuys again.”

Glenn teaches defensive driving classes at three Fort Worth locations: Zorro’s Buffet at Interstate 35 and E Seminary Dr, Denny’s Restaurant at Interstate 20 and Hulen, and Denny’s Restaurant at Interstate 35 and Western Center.

Comic actor David Moore has been one of Comedy Guys’ defensive driving instructors for a few years now, and he is repeatedly one of the most popular with driving safety customers.

After a recent Saturday class at Dave & Busters on Walnut Hill and Central Expressway, customers had a lot of nice things to say about David and his class.

Kareem B. of Dallas complimented David on his “great enthusiasm” and “good interaction with students.”

Juliet J. – also from Dallas – was just as complimentary: “Mr. Dave is an excellent teacher and most humorous. I would definitely recommend this class to my friends.”

Alicia V. of Sachse agreed, saying  “I really enjoyed the class and the instructor, and if I ever had to take this again I would take this class.” She even had good things to say about the Comedy Guys office staff: “They did a great job helping me because I had a problem on the Internet.” We love hearing comments like this: Comedy Guys Defensive Driving is one of the few companies left that has an actual office that is open every weekday and is staffed with trained employees who take good care of our customers.

Finally, Xavier M. of Garland said simply “I really liked this class,” which is exactly what we want to hear from everyone who takes a Comedy Guys Defensive Driving class, whether they take it one of our live class locations or our online defensive driving course, which you can even access on your iPhone, iPad, and Android smartphone or tablet.

The only downside to David’s popularity is that it means that Todd Justice, professional stand up comic, has a challenge in front of him as he begins Saturday defensive driving classes at our new Dallas location, SpeedZone Dallas at 11130 Malibu Drive (NW corner of Walnut Hill and Interstate 35E).

Defensive driving instructor Gary Murray gets many positive comments from the customers who take his Mesquite defensive driving classes.

Even moving some of our driving safety classes into a new location at Buffalo Wild Wings near 635 and Town East Blvd hasn’t stopped the positive testimonials from coming in.

At a recent Mesquite class, John P of Forney called Gary “very smart, intelligent, and informative.”

Christina W of Terrell said he was “very funny” and that Gary “needs a pay raise.” (To tell the truth, so many people tell us that Gary needs a raise — in those exact same words — that we sometimes suspect he’s been telling them what to write.)

Marvin T of Rowlett praised Gary for being “very friendly” and working to remember the names of everyone in the class. This is the kind of personal touch that brings people back to take Gary’s class again the next time they need a defensive driving course.

Finally Lilian A of Garland commented that Gary “imparted so much knowledge with a great sense of humor.” Which really nicely summarizes exactly what Comedy Guys works to do both in all of its defensive driving classes in 17 Texas cities and with its online defensive driving course, which is even conveniently formatted on iPhones, iPads, and Android smart phones and tablets.

Defensive driving instructor Larry Dooley has been collecting some impressive compliments from his classes recently. Larry teaches our defensive driving classes in Carrollton TX on Wednesday mornings and all of our driving safety classes in Denton TX , conveniently situated for all those UNT and TWU students who get speeding tickets.

Regina C. of Carrollton TX praised Larry for his “professionalism and congeniality,” plus his “knowledge of course material and presentation.”

Candrian A. of Denton TX agreed, saying “I enjoyed the instructor. Very knowledgeable and knows his material.”

Emily W. of Denton TX came to a Comedy Guys Defensive Driving Class because her brother recommended us. She enjoyed “the atmosphere and the info” of her class at La Milpa Restaurant in Denton, and she said that Larry was personable and had a great voice.”

Finally, Amy M. of Denton TX said that she had taken a defensive driving class before but that is was “more funny this time” because she went with Comedy Guys. That’s the kind of thing we love to hear. Texas state law makes the class six hours long; Comedy Guys Defensive Driving makes it entertaining.

Now that we’ve been hearing from the three people who won an Apple iPad 2 in our Get Mobile! Giveaway, we’ve also been asking them about their experiences with Comedy Guys Defensive Driving. Taking our class, either in person or online, wasn’t a requirement of the contest, but it turns out that all three winners have taken our class.

And one of these, Shaley L. of Coppell, just raved about Comedy Guys Defensive Driving instructor Becky Jane Romine and her twice-a-week classes in Arlington, Texas.

“I have and will continue to highly recommend using the Comedy Guys for a defensive driving course in Texas. I thoroughly enjoyed my Saturday class in Arlington with Becky Jane Romine. Becky was hilarious and endlessly fascination. Before the class, I was a little weary of a six-hour seminar — I didn’t have lectures that long even in college — but the time flew by and I didn’t feel like I was in classroom at all. In fact, my ‘classroom’ was actually a local restaurant where I receive a free, tasy meal.

“It was obvious from the get-go that Becky is a professional comedian because she kep my interest the entire time. She also kept me laughing. Becky had fantastic stories and was a complete hoot. Becky’s defensive driving classes in Arlington are held at Humperdink’s Restaurant on Six Flag Drive on Friday and Saturday mornings.

For those of you not old enough to remember actual letters, that was where people used to communicate by picking up a pen or pencil and writing actual words onto a piece of paper, which they then put into a stamped envelope and mailed to the recipient.

Absolutely no electronics involved.

Yesterday, we got just such a thing from one of Defensive Driving instructor Terry Yates‘s very happy customers. Terry, who teaches defensive driving classes in Plano and Dallas, has been with Comedy Guys Defensive Driving for a long time, and his fun, relaxed classes have earned him quite a following among those drivers who don’t like to slow down.

Yesterday’s letter from Jeff H. of Plano TX is just one more example.

Here’s some of what Jeff had to say: “I was very impressed with Terry Yates and his presentation. Terry was creative and innovative with his approach to conveying the importance of the course. He held our attention from start to finish with the use of wit, charm, and humor. He kept us interactive with discussions, not to mention in stitches as well. Houston Defensive Driving instructor Albert Deleon recently finished a class and discovered that he had not customer comment cards. Being the inventive fellow he is, he whipped out a stack of 3×5 cards and used them instead.

And because they weren’t the usual forms, I noticed them more when they got to our Comedy Guys office in Dallas.

Below you can read what Albert’s defensive driving students had to say about him and his class.

Raymond C. said, “This class was very entertaining and kept my attention. Albert was a great instructor and very knowledgeable.”

Ethan J. said, “The class was good. The six hours went by fast, and I learned something.”

Nicola M. said Albert’s class was “definitely educational and entertaining,” and Ashley B. complimented him on having “a lot of interesting / entertaining stories.”

But personally I think I like Autumn M.‘s comment best. “I enjoyed the class. It’s very thorough and gave me a better understanding of the DOs and DON’Ts of driving.” And at Comedy Guys Defensive Driving, that’s exactly the kind of class we want to have: classes that are enjoyable but are still thorough and give our students the information to make themselves safer drivers.

As some of you know already, Houston is new territory for Comedy Guys. So far we have just a few classes every week in four locations. But as the Comedy Guys Defensive Driving class schedule in Houston grows, we promise to have more and more classes that are just as enjoyable and thorough as the ones Albert Deleon has been teaching for us.

Well, actually, Shirley, you don’t. You can come back and take the class as often as you want. And if you want to vary up the menu a bit, David teaches at three different locations for us: Dave & Busters in Dallas, El Chico Restaurant in Arlington, and Los Lupes in Irving. Just think of it as dinner and a show, and it won’t be that weird.
