Listing the 100 Greatest Cars of All Time. An impressive undertaking, to be sure. But if anyone is up to the job, it’s the car people at Edmunds.com.

Click here and you can check out for yourself the list that Edmunds listmaster John Pearley Huffman calls “definitive” and “absolutely, scientifically, precisely and transcendently correct.”

At least for now.

I will ruin a tiny bit of the suspense though: Our handsome 1955 Ford Thunderbird here came in number 41.

I read the list and was almost disappointed until I read #29 which is the 1970 Datsun 240z. The body style was meant to resemble the jaguar. My first car that I sold my drums and dirtbike for downpayment was a 1972 Datsun 240z. I paid 4 grand in 1974 for this amazing car. Dang I wish I still had it. Silver with maroon leather interior. Louvers on the back slopped window. I installed a under the dash Craig 8 Track player. I could fill up for 5 bucks and life was good.
