Thirty-seven years after it’s first episode in 1975, Saturday Night Live has become such a staple of television that it’s easy to forget how much the late-night show changed television comedy.

And during those years, the cast — known, of course, as the Not-Ready-for-Prime-Time Players — has included some 129 different actors, as well as many supporting players. Some of these have gone on to become instantly recognizable household names, but most have not.

Lauren Yapalater at BuzzFeed has collected nineteen of the SNL cast members you’ve probably forgotten ever were cast members.

But no mention of my favorite forgotten guy: the late Charles Rocket, who got immediately for dropping an F-bomb on live TV in 1981.
