Tom Hanks is the former drag queen (BOSOM BUDDIES) has become one of America’s most beloved actors. Since leaving behind television, Tom has done such comedies as BACHELOR PARTY, BIG, A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN and PUNCHLINE. This two time Oscar winner has been lending his talents to animation by being the voice of Woody on TOY STORY.
He has also become a producer, putting on shows like The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which caused way too many exposures to the Hepatitis virus.
So Happy Birthday Tom and congrats for getting off the island (CASTAWAY) and away from WWII (just about everything else in the last decade).
|One has to wonder where the time has gone… Fred Savage was the childhood star of THE WONDER YEARS, a television show that begged the question: Did we really think those fashions were cool?He was also in THE PRINCESS BRIDE and in AUSTIN POWERS 3playing the Mole. If one ever questions the existence of God, look no further than Sofia Vergara.
This Latin bombshell has been taking Hollywood by storm with her role in MODERN FAMILY. She proved her comic timing by being in the remake of THE THREE STOOGES. (She did look silly with the Moe haircut)
Lately she was also in THE SMURFS and NEW YEAR’S EVE, proving that she can pick losers as well as winners.
| Herman Munster. Need we say more? Fred Gwynne is best known for playing the role of Herman Munster in the classic sit-com THE MUNSTERS, a show that answered the question–Where did all the Universal Monsters go?He started his career working with Brando in ON THE WATERFRONT and by playing half of the team in CAR 54, WHERE ARE YOU? Gwynne finished it by working with Pesci in MY COUSIN VINNY.
Fred left this world on July 2, 1993 and is survived by cobwebs, neck bolts and a legion of adoring fans.

Author E.B. White is best known as a writer of children’s literature. The man crafted the novels CHARLOTTE’S WEB and STUART LITTLE. Never published were the sequels CHARLOTTE’S WEB II: WILBUR’S REVENGE and STUART LITTLE II: THE MOUSE WHO SHAGGED ME.
He also wrote Here is New York which some consider a dark love letter to the city. Others consider anything written about NYC to be a dark love letter.
He is also known for the text The Elements of Style, commonly referred to as Strunk & White. Veteran comic writer and Comedy Gym coach Sam Cox uses that text to show that even joke writing follows the rules set down by Mr. White and being succinct is just as important in writing a one-liner as it is in writing a research paper.
|David Henrie is a 23-year-old actor who appears on WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.His first major break was on the Fox sitcom THE PITTS as Petey. He has since risen from the Pitts to working with Selena Gomez. Lucky him.Fun fact: he has tattoos on his arms of Bible scriptures. My guess is that it is not Leviticus 19:28.|

Comic Legend Bill Cosby began his career by talking about karate on THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW.
Instead of taking on race, the Cos used his comic skills to focus on childhood. Telling stories of his little brother Russell and Fat Albert and the gang, Bill Cosby became and endearing comic figure to millions. Later, he turned those stories into the Saturday morning show, FAT ALBERT AND THE COSBY KIDS, which gave the world Mushmouth and Mudfoot.
In 1965 he landed the show I, SPY and became one of the first Black Americans seen on weekly television in a major starring role. Later, he became everybody’s dad in the eight-season run of THE COSBY SHOW (1984-92).
To show he knows how to make bad motion pictures, Bill has appeared in both GHOST DAD and LEONARD PART 6. (What ever happened to parts 1 through 5?)
|Milton Berlebegan his career as a comic by playing some of the roughest stages of Burlesque and Vaudeville. This veteran worked his way from stage to screen and became one of the first icons of television. His variety show was one of the first reasons to own a television set. Some of his more famous quotes are:
He is also known for wearing a dress and using other comics bits.
So here’s to Uncle Milty, the greatest material thief of all time. It is a record that only Robin Williams, Carlos Mencia, and Dane Cook have tried to better.
|People ask: who the heck is Tom Kenny?4 words–Sponge Bob Square Pants. This comedy actor and voice man has also been on such shows as DEXTER’S LABORATORY, JOHNNY BRAVO, and THE POWERPUFF GIRLS. The Saturday Morning set and stoners can’t get enough of him.In the 1980’s, he was seen on just about every comedy program on television including THE DENNIS MILLER SHOW.
He is also a lifelong friend to Bobcat Goldthwait, but you can’t blame a guy for what his friends do. So Happy Birthday to Tom Kenny who will be spending his birthday at Comic-com, hob-knobing with the ueber geeks.

As part of the comedy team of Cheech and Chong, Cheech Marin turned the idea of stoner comedy from something done on the playground to a work of art. This comedy duo ‘scored’ with a series of films with their two bumbling inept characters, going though life in a foggy haze and UP IN SMOKE.
Since the duo broke up in 1984 after THE CORSICAN BROTHERS, Cheech has gone on to a stellar acting and voice-over career. He has been in TIN CUP, GHOSTBUSTERS II, THE LION KING, and CHRISTMAS WITH THE KRANKS. Working with director Robert Rodriguez eight times, Cheech has learned how to handle both a gun and a green screen.
Even though his father is a 30-year veteran of the LAPD, Cheech was never busted for possession by the LAPD. This shows how oblivious a parent can be with their children.
|Bob Craneis best known for two things. The first is being Hogan on HOGAN’S HEROES, a show that proved that Nazis could be funny. This TV show was very loosely based on STALAG 17, both the play and the film. The television show also starred Richard Dawson, the future host of FAMILY FEUD. Richard seldom kissed the Nazis. The second thing Bob Crane is know for is his interest in amateur erotic cinema. As explored and exposed in the movie AUTO FOCUS, Bob made a giant documentation of his nefarious activities with different ladies.
Very much after his death, Bob’s son put these films out on a pay-per-view site. This proves that one shouldn’t make their children enemies and that you should destroy all the evidence.

Jane Lynch is a comic actress best known for playing the role of Sue Sylvester on GLEE. The fact that she puts up with all that teen caterwauling is enough to get her either accolades or earplugs
This veteran comic and improv actress can also be seen on such great films as THE 40-YEAR-OLD VIRGIN and improvising her way through several Christopher Guest films such as BEST IN SHOW and A MIGHTY WIND.
Prior to GLEE, she was best know to TV viewers as Charlie Sheen’s psychiatrist on TWO AND HALF MEN. But don’t blame his problems on her: she’s not responsible for the script.
|William Hanna along with Joseph Barbera made some of the most significant contributions to world culture, inventing Fred Flintstone and Scooby-Doo.The animator started work at with veteran Leon Schlesinger, the force behind Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies. Later he co-founded Hanna-Barbera Studios and made TOM & JERRY and THE JETSONS. He is responsible for proving that animation could be successful in prime time. He not only animated Ann-Margret into Ann-Margrock; he also made big loudmouth guys cool.
If you like THE SIMPSONS or FAMILY GUY, thanks have to go to William Hanna for showing that cartoons are not just for kids.

Let’s start with the fact that Alex Karras played Mongo in BLAZING SADDLES. Is there any question about the comedy of this guy?
Most television viewers know Alex Karras for playing on the hit TV show WEBSTER for 150 episodes. Few people remember that he was in PORKY’S and VICTOR/VICTORIA. Even fewer remember him in FM or WHEN TIME RAN OUT.
This former football player was the second vote-getter for the 1957 Heisman Trophy and winner of the 1957 Outland Trophy. As a tackle for the Detroit Lions from 1958 to 1971, he was in the trenches with dangerous men and thugs. Since becoming an actor, he has gotten used to being in the trenches with dangerous men and thugs.
