There are just a few days left to make a public promise to stop texting while driving before AT&T’s No Text on Board Pledge Day.

In a campaign that began in August, the wireless provider AT&T is asking drivers to pledge to stop texting while driving. The company is challenging drivers to go to to take the no-texting-and-driving pledge, and then share their promise with others via Twitter (#itcanwait) and Facebook.

This campaign is the company’s response to the increasing dangers of all forms of distracted driving, of which texting is especially dangerous. Over 100,000 collisions each year involve a driver who was texting and driving.

And if you haven’t visited and taken the pledge yet, there’s still time.
